A Press Conference, A Moral Call for Moral Change with Faith Leaders, Houston NAACP, American Federation of Teachers, Survivors of Shootings at Sandy Hook and Parkland, celebrity influencers, public officials, and civic organizations are uniting for change! We are “One Family One Future”.
Since Sandy Hook in 2012, mass shootings have been on the rise. In 2018, at Santa Fe High School in Texas, 8 students and 2 teachers were killed. Now, Buffalo, NY, 13 shot,10 were killed, and Uvalde, Texas, at Robb Elementary School, 19 children and 2 teachers killed. These are the latest added to an unforgettable long list of deaths by mass killers. And still, no significant gun law reforms. “We must have change before the next mass killing happens!”

A Moral Call for Change in Gun Laws
•Immediate ban on assault rifles and high-capacity magazines that create weapons of mass human death!
•Universal and thorough background checks before buying a gun, to prevent the mentally ill, known extremists, violent felons, and criminals and other dangerous people from buying and owning guns, including preventing “straw sells.”
•Red Flag Laws that provides waiting periods for gun sellers, also, to permit family members or police to petition state courts order confiscation of guns from dangerous people before they kill!
•Raise minimum age for buying a gun to 21, so that someone age 21 or over can be held accountable for gun buying and selling.
